IMPLEMENTATION WITH EASE

OnServiceMD scheduling for a single service is easy to implement. What does that mean?  OnServiceMD was created with functionalities and features which specifically allow implementation without any significant commitment from a hospital or health system’s very busy IT department.  It is further cloud-based, so does not require installation on any hospital servers.  Hospital IT resources are such a critical in-house resource, and frequently cannot be further taxed to implement new software packages for specific groups of users.  That is why OnServiceMD Scheduling does not require a significant commitment of an IT department’s time. This model allows for rapid implementation at a low cost for a specified group of users, such as hospitalists or a private consulting group.  Such an arrangement also allows for the universal, 2-month free trial that is inherent to all of OnServiceMD contracts and agreements.

OnServiceMD Clinicals typically do require more of a commitment from your IT department, due to integrations that are typically requested.  Our team has experience with different EHR integrations and can work to minimize the impact on hospital-based resources.

The OnServiceMD Integrated Call Schedule is typically implemented working closely with a hospital-based Project Manager.  Ensuring that all groups leverage the call schedule to reflect each group’s coverage accurately on the Integrated Call Schedule takes some time to ensure that group administrators are familiar with service-based functionality and, where requested, there may be additional time necessary to customize the Integrated Call Schedule to best meet a health system’s needs or to establish scheduling system integrations.

IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS

Implementation for OnServiceMD Scheduling occurs in a simple, 3-step process which is easy for customers to understand. Depending upon what type of implementation is chosen, an initial planning meeting allows clients to consider customizations and features that are required to meet their own needs. A follow-up meeting ensures specifications and any customizations, if applicable, are mutually understood. A final meeting involves delivering login credentials to superusers and admin users, and helps to ensure success through superuser-based strategic training. Group-wide roll-out is then targeted with the support and close involvement of OnService support, if desired.

Implementation of OnServiceMD Clinicals and the Integrated Call Schedule requires additional time, and may increase in complexity depending upon any hospital’s requests for integrations or specific security requirements.  Given the customizability that the system already offers and the intuitive UI and functionality, getting end-users up and running with the software can happen without a great deal of effort.

OnServiceMD also offers on-demand video training for users, which helps with client onboarding.
